Accompanied with my sister and my mother, we re-interpret the Quebecois country love song T’envoler (Paul Daraîche). Transformed into a lullaby, the interpretation puts forward the lyrics and emphasizes the singular relations that each of us has with the country western culture, passed on from Mother to Daughter. By transposing a lovelorn into a family context, there are many possibilities to revisit this song in a context of mother-daughter/sister-sister relationships, trying to create new memories that are both intimate, familial and collective.
