In this docufiction, I reappropriate the role of a national hero by impersonating Willie Lamothe as a woman in the daily life and I interview my mother and my uncle about the importance of this character in the context of Quebec. These videos are part of a video series Devenir et être le héros (2008-2010), in which I impersonate various popular male characters from the 40s-70s country western Quebec culture.
